RETRO ROCKET'S AIRCRAFT-INSPIRED BRITISH-MADE TRAILER TAKES OFF WITH CATERING INDUSTRY
A British company is offering the catering trade an eye-catching way to attract customers with its aircraft-inspired catering trailers. For some would-be restaurateurs, Retro Rocket’s range could be a viable alternative to bricks and mortar.
Since its launch, Wocestershire-based Retro Rocket’s Atlantic catering trailer has been making big waves in the catering trade, and is now operating in more than a dozen countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Holland and Denmark. The 2013-model offers a raft of new features, and each one is hand-built in polished aluminium, using aircraft-style construction techniques.
The Retro Rocket Atlantic boasts superior structural integrity with inner and outer aluminium layers riveted to a welded space frame, also aluminium. Up to 2000 special rivets are used to perfect both the build quality and the aesthetics; this is a style and approach born from an 80 year tradition but updated with modern safety, durability and construction.
“Our Atlantic catering trailers are a hard-working range for hard-working caterers,” explains managing director Peter Carrick. “But this strength and durability is overshadowed by its retro shape and sleek styling, both of which are a perfect foil for talented chefs and their delicious food!”
