Chiselwood Win Best Interior Design Private Residence East Midlands

Bespoke kitchen and furniture company, Chiselwood, has won Best Interior Design for a Private Residence in the East Midlands at the prestigious UK Property Awards.

Founders Mel and Martin Holliday received the award jointly with Jamie Hempsall and Richard Bond of Jamie Hempsall Interior Design who partnered with them on the project to refurbish an entire Tudor manor house.

The very best developments, architecture and interior design from across the entire United Kingdom were celebrated at the awards ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on Friday 12 October. Judging was carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of over 60 experts covering every aspect of the property business.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have won this fantastic award from such a prestigious panel of judges,” comments Chiselwood MD, Mel Holliday. “We work closely with Jamie Hempsall Interior Design on many outstanding projects each year both in the UK and abroad and we are delighted that the creativity and craftsmanship of the entire team have been recognised,” she added.

The winning project featured bespoke design using luxury materials such as walnut, ebony and zambrano and a bold colour palette for a manor house dating back to the 1500’s and included kitchen, boot room, cloakroom, laundry room, bedrooms, bathrooms and a study.
